Mission:
The Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resources Collaborative works daily to disrupt generational poverty by creating sustainable pathways to economic mobility and empower disenfranchised citizens through social justice reform.
Vision:
It is our vision to improve the quality of life in the community at large through an active, effective, credible social and family support network.
We have created a one-stop-shop resources complex with local, state and national government and social service organizations with a focus on stability, self-sufficiency, and economic mobility through five overlapping lenses: family stability, emotional well-being, educational achievement, financial stability, and employment.
Our Impact:
Since the start of the pandemic, we have distributed over $1.6 million in rental relief, preventing hundreds of evictions. We have provided case management services to dozens of clients and launched new workforce development programming designed to help our community rebuild stronger than ever!
